Kenyan & Zanzibar Sultans Colonised Oman , not otherwise .

Niliskia ule professor wa SPICE FM insisting that it was the east african sultans who were ruling oman and not Omanis ruling east africa , ati history was altered kidogo . Hii maneno ni ukweli ?

Si ukweli… the same minds that does BJ50, celebrates big butts and sex the whole day? …can’t be

either way bado the EA sultans were arabs. so i dont care

they were all Omanis whether ruling from east africa or oman …hakukua na sultan bantu

You can be sure that these woke we waz kingz and queenz will soon start claiming that the sultans were negros.

The Omanis had set up base in Zanzibar as their capital. The spice trade and slave trade had some serious cash. Sayid Bin Sayid

The omanis were controlling the east african coast and at some time moved their capital from muscat to zanzibar. So its true that at one time the omani empire was being ruled from zanzibar but by the arab sultans.

They were also interested in ivory which they got from the interior africa areas and thus traded with african kingdoms like buganda, toro etc. Note that omani is a desrt and didnt have much resources unlike africa that was very rich in resources.

@johnpombe there is even a part of Pakistan called Gwadar in Balochistan that they had colonized and still get soldiers from there. Those boys are fierce like Gurkhas for British Army

Nimeshindwa whats funny with the map, then nikakumbuka nikitongoji pale shungwaya

True

Yes, in principle one can argue that Zanzibar colonised Oman.

Tippu Tip had an estate deep in the Congo. Kwani wtf were African kings and chiefs doing as these vile Arabs made their way burning villages, kidnapping and enslaving Africans and stealing their gold and ivory.

I swear it’s this jigga that gave king Leopold those devilish ideas about having a secret slave empire in the 20th century after slavery sas abolished.

Then l just learnt that Indians were also heavily involved in the east African slave trade together with Arabs. Kweli we are on Our own with Jah

They were selling the slaves or trading with the Arabs. The Arabs could not move inwards without permission
