A Luo man blowing a horn instrument, made from an antelope horn and gourd resonator at the end, known as oporo. He is also wearing a goat skin apron (pien nyadiel) and wears what appears to be another horn (?Buffalo) from a string around his head. Rather than playing music it is likely he is demonstrating the way in which the horn was used to send out sound as a message or to call for a meeting. He also has a sheathed dagger (pand ligagngla) hanging from his neck.
