Its time our fucking president stood to be counted.

We are in 2020, not the 90s anymore, when TZ and UG were buying almost all their manufactured goods from light industries in Kenya…
The balance of trade was in our favor, yet Moi did not kiss ass too much, just the normal diplomatic engagements. Kibaki too was not interested in too much niceties.

In 2020, the 3 nations are trading at almost same level, based on imports and exports…

We are the single biggest market for their raw farm produce…

I don’t understand why Uhuru Kenyatta is such a pussy… hii kushinda akiita Kina Megafool “Ndugu” sijui “Jirani” ni ushenzi mtupu…
Friendships among nations is a lie, Interests should be the only thing.

Can you imagine a LDC like TZ threatening us because they sell us some farm products like onions???

Even a land-locked nation like UG that depends on us for Sea imports/exports is poking us…??

Can you imagine if Kenya was landlocked and UG had access to the sea, Museveni would be calling shots in Kenya, it would be his bed-room.

In any case they should treat us with more respect. Can you imagine the nations Kenya sells horticultural products, tea, coffee and flowers begging us ?

It is a good thing Uhuru does not have you as one of his advisors. Effing your neighbors is never a good strategy. You might need them when your house is burning

you are a war monger hatukuhitaji, kama unataka vita toka hapo nje upige bibi yako.

OP is right, you need to be firm sometimes hufai kuwa zuzu kila masaa kwa sababu utadharauliwa.

Shida yake ni his personal/commercial interest surpasses our national interest!

 Dont blame him. He is being himself. Cooperation is not an African’s strong point, genetically. Very few African brothers build a together. Indians and whites do it all the time. To an African, (most Africans), a brother is an adversary, not a partner. A million and one scores to settle with each other, I tell you. Like a curse. Huyo ukimuliza saa hii the last time his brother bought him anything, hatakumbuka, atakudanganya.

UHURU NI MAVI YA MBWA

Being firm does not mean that you need to be fighting… Can you read the post again

Really?
This meekness is distasteful. So they will not need us when their houses are burning too?

Kenya is a big brother in this region, we like it or not. Bullying is not the best role of the big brother. We cannot see Italians dying like ghasia and just walk foolhardy into a pandemic just because our neighbors are doing it. On the other hand, we cant behave towards our brothers and sisters like bafoons, if they choose to behave like bafoons towards us. There must be at least one voice of moderation and tact among us.

I don’t mean we become bullies… The 1st thing is our leaders showing that they they can act in the interest of the country and honor. Interests and respect. Respect does not come when you bend in fear all the time.

Good conclusion. Nothing more to add

Are we the only one who’ll need them.Shouldn’t they think of the same before they poke noses

am also wondering… are we the ones always in need

Shida husumbua kenya ni extensive corruption …am quite certain sai tukienda war na Tanzania watatumaliza pengine tusaidie na allies kama Britain na USA

They cannot win bullet-for-bullet, but the likelihood of traitors on our side would be high…

I always thought he is just a drunkard whose got his eyes closed but based on recent events i wouldnt under estimate him

Pia mimi nimeshangaa sana over these recent events. Man is breathing Fire.

Waaah…again. Underestimating your neighbours na hii over confidence ndio itakuwa our downfall…kuna ka military science theory that an army that is commited to the cause and knows and genuinely believes in what its fighting for iko 1-0 ahead kabla mechi ianze. Tuseme t.z imechoka na hii madharau inapata from k.e na jeshi ya k.e inaona labda the country haina noma and its being deployed maybe kusettle personal scores za a government personality…we can be sorted out real good. You get?

When you take loan to build sgr with the intention of importing form lender and then re-exporting goods to neighbouring countries; you become a slave to the lender and your neighbours. We saw uhuru giving dry ports to ug, rwanda and south sudan to do their thing within our borders, we have become like a whore who sells her body to everyone, bora pesa. Uhuru upbringing denied him a chance to be in touch with reality.
