Inflation Inakupelekaje?

How is inflation hitting you guys with families? As a singleton mi sijaifeel. My recurrent household budget has always been very small, and it remains very small. Nasikia tu watu wakilia na nalia nao, but nada. Inflation inanihit kiasi tu, outside the house; transport, but I have a workaround around that. Wewe inflation imekupelekaje? Especially guys with families, what are you feeling most? Has your monthly budget increased by much? In what areas?

@Ghaseer @Unataka kujua ili?

Inaitwa discussion. Civilised people engage in it once in a while.

For the same body weight, do you have more flexible muscles or bloated fat?
Kenyans should consider minimising their fixed costs.

mimi pia singleton don feel planteshen shayt

@sani unamake sense, but doesn’t sound like a very nice thing to say kwa hii climate tuko sasa:D

I have resorted to githeri and avocado

Resorted to? Sounds like a downgrade? Na vile ni delicacy.

I was actually advised to litter my dish with githeri and avocado occasionally because I was on a chronic addiction of nyama choma and ugali.

Leo niliambia wife that she MUST spend 40% of her income to assist in recurrent expenditure.

She didn’t like that conversation. Uki marry please marry dame anafanya kazi.

Hakuna tafauti.

sijafeel inflation sana though I do shopping once per month
I bought my cooking oil at 230 bob/l (20l can) before zipande
I may notice recent hikes for unga etc
regardless, I am fortunate enough to not feel any impact ya inflation since my total monthly spending is a small percntage (20-33%) of my significant earnings

Has your recurrent expenditure increased by that much?

Lazima watu wapipinywe makeii hadi zitoe maji.

It has. I need a minimum of 26k for my supermarket shopping . Two kids only. Kitambo it was 16k

stima nayo sahii ni 5k per month.

Fuel hata usiulize.

School fees sahii tunalipa 4 terms, not the usual three. 90k extra.

Fat, Sterile and imponent simp!

 wototo kweli ni gharama! Yaani budget inaincrease by 100k+ at the flip of a switch.

that’s low for a 4-person household especially if uko metropolitan. I spend more than that for a 2-person household and we buy groceries kwa soko. If I maintained that with kids, shopping yangu ingepanda to around 50-55k
but watoto wakikuja I think we have to make sacrifices to survive kwa hii economy

dont get mad at me budd, …get mad at those ugly single digit IQ mongrels you call kids

Yes, to work within budget. Tamu sana
