I just want to clear a few misconceptions about street cameras
Not all developed countries have cameras on their roads,
Traffic cameras only work when there’s a traffic violation, like jumping a red light, others just read the plates of all cars traveling on specific roads.
Having cameras might show the vehicle but not the plates depending on the angle.
The solution to hit & runs & other crap is onboard dashcams. Install them, cost between 8 - 15k.
