I bought a phone on Saturday, 28 August, 2021. My phone was stolen on Wednesday, 8 September, 2021.
Do the networks or police help in finding the stolen phones? Have you ever recovered a phone?
Gone in 4 days.
Just interested to know if phones can be tracked well in the network. Not really interested in getting my phone back! Never even took 2 pictures with it.
Go to your local police station and obtain an OB number. Present a reciept for proof of ownership, give them the IMEI from the phone box, wachotee kitu kidogo.
When the thief is caught they will threaten him that the owner of that phone was killed during it’s robbery and they will extract about 50K from the thief. Split 50/50
Kwenda kwa bolis steshen, chukua OB number. Kwenda DCI u-report. Usikubali hao detectives wakutoanishe ati sijui utume pesa ya ku-track simu. Chances are you’ll never get it back, lakini siku moja unaeza itwa, months later, uambiwe uende ku-confirm kama simu ni yako.
Just forget it. Complete waste of time and resources. The furthest you will go is obtaining the OB number and those boys start taking you round in circles. Not worth the time and effort.
@snapdragon who specializes in stealing phones and has even robbed people of their iPhones - confirmed here on Ktalk that there is no way he will be caught. Seeing that he is still around even after robbing people their iphones at knifepoint, sidhani kuna haja kupiga riport hapo steshen.
Just buy a new one and be more careful…i lost mine once…na ilikua mara ya mwisho labda iphone ama hizi high ebd end samsung but budget phone dont even waste your timee tracking it.
Easy.
Just present the receipt ( with IMEI no.) to the DCI.
My friends phone was recovered a few years back in less than a week.
Jizi lilipatikana likichoma boza kwa mancave yake ya matope feeling very relaxed, nyanyake aliuza shamba ili kesi iishe out of court.
If it’s two IMEI numbers can they track?Once lost a phone and reported at Central police(I didn’t know better that they couldn’t do any by then). I decided to go to safcon if they could help as well but they told me they don’t track devices with two IMEIs/Dual sim and that’s why they don’t sell such. I quit. The end.
:D:D Hata wewe kijana mwisi sugu ya mtaani @Msupa Mpole aka @zayn aka @Village Grandpa @KijanaHot alias Joseph Ndirangu uko hapa ukipeana mawaidha? @Tia Dalma hii jangili isijaribu kuslide kwa inbosk yako ikikwambia vile inaweza track simu in 3 days…tutaekelea wewe nyaunyo za makende hapan cheza na sisi:meffi::meffi:
The business around stolen phones revolves around fast middle class peasants who think they have made it coz they can go drinking quivers mzinga za JD, and these are the ones that loose their phones easily kwa club either while fighting for women or when alcohol drinks them.
The normal middle class that have already been difiled by the govt with taxes and high cost of living will never buy a phone that’s more than thate thousands. Ukiona peasants kama nyamúgondo akitumia high-end latest phone either hafikirii ama ameokota pesa mahali za haraka.
The first class who can afford latest high-end smartphone don’t get stolen and those are the serious madasakas that can track u up to your grandmothers village. So ebu tupee hekaya kwanza how u lost your communicator.
