The reasoning that this Ndii uses , makes me see a Pol Pot in him.

:D:D:Dhe is just stating facts

ndii seems to have declared war on an idealistic middle class status man that can pay for dstv premium bouquet but is still busy on twitter complaining about a 17% hike in electricity prices.
In their head, a rise in water and electricity bills only affects “dynasties”. This shite worked for them well during the elections they think its the cure all propaganda strategy, day of reckoning is slowly coming

Ndii is giving approaching policy making from an elitist angle.

Ndii is stating the government position as @othello noted.
KK government doesn’t give a shit about the urban middle class because for all they care, they never voted for them. Also because the middle class of this country is one of the meekest and ‘don’t-care-about-politics’ people in the world.
Not like our Arab brothers or even the Americans.
So therefore, have your lubes in hand. For people are about to get royally screwed and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t even demonstrate because you see it as a preserve of the lower class. You won’t vote because politics is dirty and you sure as hell will only make noise on Twitter and then proceed to the next topic.
Just take it. The government knows.

3x Whitecap at 180/= each is 540 buana. Apana sumbua elders.

As if these policies only target some people. These additional costs have knock on effects that hurt everyone. To a person in the middle class it means going without a few beers a month but to a kagege hio ni lunch ya siku mbili ama tatu. Ndii knows this. He also knows that the people on twitter are not the main target of political rhetoric. Notwithstanding Kenya Kwisha iendelee kufinya kagege kabisa.

Shouldn’t KK government be working towards expanding the middle class ? , seems like they’re working towards expanding the hustler nation.

Honestly they seem to be more focused on politics and rewarding cronies than actually fixing the economy.

On that alone they’ve been the busiest in. In fact, Nabii has received accolades for being “loyal” to his cronies and “keeping his promises” to them.

Tugeges ndio yeye apantambua.

The hustlers nation is much much more “manageable”

nabii amenyonga uchumi, tunamumunya chrome siku hizi

There’s a section of the rich who sponsored the government, these are shareholders. The other section of the rich class will probably not feel the pinch of increased cost of living, like it has always been. What about the peasant rural farmer? They’ve always been the victims of poverty, hunger, disease and ignorance. They are the class where ills like tribalism thrive in and believe me you they are accustomed to misrule that it doesn’t bother them that much. It’s why most of the rural class has already made its mind to give Ruto 10 years. The government knows this. They mostly farm on their small lands for sustenance and contribute little to taxes. They’re hardly affected by government policies.
The middle class: lower, middro and upper are the proper cash cows. You most likely will buy unga in the supermarket, most likely have a car, most likely have money to spend for entertainment purposes and Sundays pop up once in a while in church. And to make it better, this class is employed and have kra pins to boot, nssf, nhif.
Ndii says that KK is coming for this class. People should be looking for mitigation strategies, not typing on Twitter.

Wee go drink your chrome in peace. Nowhere in this republic does a Whitecap cost 180…

Infact these are the most affected by poor policies. If essential commodities rise even marginally these people feel it. You cannot be fully sustainable these days. Even if you grow maize you have to buy still other foodstuffs, you have send your kids to school, you have to support your extended family/ parents not to mention things like transport and healthcare. The middle and upper classes can afford some luxuries but these people try to get by day by day barely affording necessities. Can you imagine having all of those financial responsibilities while you farm only produces a few bags of produce every year. And the worst part is that these are the most foolish voters you can find anywhere.
