Me I am very grateful for my country, I have never regretted being born in Kenya. I have always seen Kenya to be the best country with the best people, with best of everything. Yaani if you ask me which country will paradise be like, I can only tell you it will be like Kenya.
I am grateful for the family God brought me into. It’s the best. Yaani they’re so kind and loving. Big hearts. Patient and forgiving. They love me so much that I have never felt a deficit of love in my life.
I am grateful for God’s protection over my life, my loved ones, my country. Just imagine living in a country that has never experienced war from birth to death, we know only peace, some countries people have never seen peace in their own country. From birth hadi wamekuja wazee they only saw peace when they left their country. Si tumebarikiwa sana. Si Mungu anatupenda sana. Wengine wakipigana. We only see wars in movies and on TV. Kama hio sio kupendwa and to highly favored I don’t know what is.
Don’t take it for granted that we are here today, just know that we are blessed and highly favored.
- i am grateful for God’s love, His son died for me on the cross and am saved… Thats something i cannot take for granted.
- Am grateful for my family. They brought me up in a godly way.
- Am grateful for having friends around me.
I am grateful to be born in a Christian country, in a Christian family, I am grateful to God I can worship the Living God without hiding, fear and intimidation. That I can acess the Word of God, I am in a country where I can go to church thrice a day if I want to. That I am in a country where I can go to a prayer mountain or prayer center to spend time with God weeks at a time. What a blessing. Imagine being in China or the moslem world. No church, no prayer centers. Hiding Bibles. Persecution.
What shall I render to Jehovah for He has done so very much for me
I want to thank God for choosing me, to be His, as Jesus said, no man can come to faith in God unless the Spirit draws him. I thank God that He is not only a God but a Father, but a Friend that sticks closer than a brother, but a Comforter, but a Counselor, but a Healer, a Provider, an ever present help in the time of need. Sisi ni wapenzi. Though it may be a love affair like Hosea and Gomer. He is still faithful when I am unfaithful, His mercies are new every morning. What an amazing love. His love is so amazing.
I think about the many, many times I’ve seen Your powerful hand, the miracles in my life, how could I live without you?
