Gengetone rapper Francis Macharia aka Odi wa Muranga has declared intention to contest the Murang’a gubernatorial race.
Even though the Boondocks group member is punching above his weight, his intention is to make sure that Murang’a youth are well represented.
“Murang’a youth have been neglected for a long time yet many youths come out to vote. But once you elect someone, they forget you,” Odi wa Muranga said.
The rapper says that a few sponsors have come through to assure him of their support.
