I realised there was this gateman who was so diligent with his work , alikuwa was G4S . He made u feel welcomed unlike those gatemen who have this mafeelings pointing you with rungu telling u to wait outside …
My 1st day he welcomed me jovially exchanging few jokes, even asked me more about my course , he made me feel at home n welcomed …
A week later I realised everyone talked about how nice the gateman was .
It happened the then CEO was moving out to another top corporate job in United States and there was a well paying job open there for any of his pick from the company…
He didn’t pick any of the managers who wear expensive suits n drive big cars … His selection was the humble gate man who respected everyone around …
The following month there was a new replacement at the gate , the young man had his Visa processed and on to greener pastures …
Moral of the story …
Whichever occupation you are in , give it your best …
You are a good storyteller. I like your style. Keep bringing them. But seems people here don’t mind fiction. So give them fiction, just make the characters f**k and things like that. It seems it is the only plot people understand here. And throw in a single mother or two.
