Freak accidents

Its Christmas time again, jam kila mahali as Kenyan shop, travel all to prepare for the d-day.
Swali langu ni…while someone knows that he/she will use their jalopy to travel upcountry shouldn’t they service it well to cover the journey to and fro.
On the roads am seeing all manner of small small accidents…mara tyres zimetoboka, slow punctures…kuchemka engine…mara gasket imechapa, the funny one was from a BMW X5,the driver engaged handbrake sasa haitoki…na jamaa walikuwa wamesimama kukojoa,5hrs later they are still waiting for rescue from Nyairobi.
Kwani.mtu huamka tu na kusema kesho tunaenda Khwisero…peleka gari service kwanza to nab some of those minor issues.Ukitobokewa na tyre mbili between Suswa na Ndulele utasaidika aje.
My road trip continues and by the way Toyota Auris is such a good companion

Sawa thirimagari

Kwanza yako ikiharibikia kwa kichaka unaweza nitambua

Most people like driving cars with problems they already know about. Some of those cars have been bought recently second hand. faulty cooling systems are exposed on hills on highways. its usally a small fault like a hairline crack not easily visible to the eye or a hole which the previous owner used some glue to seal. solution is usually a new component and always a new thermostat and radiator cap.
tyres have no shortcut. if they are old or chinese they wont withstand long hours of hard driving.

Yaani ulinunua Auris mkubwa? Congratulations

Car hire buana

Okay

Next year nitakuombea ununue yako.

Some people tolerate living with those minor problems because of a lack of reliable and trustworthy mechanic

Enzi za kupeleka gari kwa mechanic before a long drive to the countryside ziliputwa na wakati… Well maintained modern day cars don’t need all that. Basic DIY checks suffice.
