Expressway is a scam
Lets give some of these infrastructure projects a chance. Lets judge them using real data when they are operational.
I believe a combination of express way and BRT will greatley easen up traffic flow in the city.

PPP is not a new model being piloted in Kenya. Express ways have been built for decades all over the world. Toll stations are a feature in most countries in the world. What is important is to judge the success or failure of such a project using real data.

the ongoing BRT on thika road is another scam loading. it would have been more sensible if it was part of the original superhighway design. the IDEAL BRT is one which functions from a peripheral bus station, say, at Juja (offloading and loading rural mt kenya -bound matatus) to a BRT station in the CBD. this was the idea that works in dar es salaaam - think of ubungo. lakini hii ya kutengeneza stages kwa lane moja, without addressing the globe/khoja mosque bottleneck among other simpler solutions for jam, is a scam loading.
