There was a job I had landed but never worked at, because management filled in the position that same day I was to start working. No call, only an SMS sorrysplaining. I made sure to get there for answers but it made no difference hearing it directly from them. I cancelled business plans I had with some associates becaused we had finalized on my absobtion into the company.
How businesses succeed with such kind of people is totally beyond me. This is very unprofessional.

Happened to me at Tata Chemicals (2009) and Mumias Sugar (2012), mid level position. Same day you are to report is the same day they text you that they’ve filled the position, yet You’ve signed the hiring contract. Take them to the courts, it wont solve anything but worth a fight.
