Computer shops and outdated items.

Most PC shops locally sell machines that are old. Shelves filled with pre 2012 machines. Many Dual Cores, Core 2 Duos and 4th Gen i3s and i5s.
All of these machines were made for Windows Vista/7.

These graphics cards won’t even work with Windows 10. Their drivers are for Windows Vista/7. They’ll only work as video cards.

Many servers are 2009 era machines. People have to buy these machines because they are the cheapest, if not the only, options available.
I carry with me Windows 7 bootdisk and Cobra Driver Pack 2010 because there is always someone willing to downgrade OS to fully use the hardware.

Those are CBD computer kiosks in stalls. Huwes pata latest items there.

na wakigundua haushikanishi vile wanakunyorosha bei

Computer labda self import. Or if you have money shell out hundreds of thousands.

Kenya and many African countries is a dumping site for old hardware from Europe.

Where can you get

Market forces!. Sasa unataka watu wa saiba wanunue machine za intel cometlake? Na highschools? If you want cutthroat hardware Lenovo, Dell and Hp are already here. Hata Apple wako hapa. Asus hata wamelaunch OLED laptops in kenya.

Please go back to Sex and relationships. Useless comment.

bora hufanyi autodesk, autocad na hizo vitu zingine za kumeza ram na cpu

When will you stop feeding others with this sort of misinformation? The exact same machines are available on ebay for sale within the western world. Second, waste management/ recovery of precious metals is a million dollar business. Why won’t kenya lead in research and earn extra income.

Third, why don’t you call “new-shape cars” that you probably own, which are more than 8 years old…garbage? Those computers you are seeing there are 2013-2015 models. The cars that Kenyans buy from Japan to show class and fuack ladies (something @Sambamba totally loves) are all older than those machines. I will argue that it’s easier to upgrade and repair a computer than a car.

Google already gave a guideline for installing Chrome OS on older intel machines - some of which are an overkill for such a lightweight OS. So excuses galore from Kenyans.

Waste dumping is taking dead computers and damaged monitors and shuttling them to Africa. Small businesses need a simple intel Celeron computer from 2011 to run a POS and that’s it.

Hizo shops ziko wapi?

uko na power supply ya server? want to use it somewhere

The average Kenyan doesnt care whether ako na windows 10 ama 7 as long as anaweza fungua Word and browse the internet

Use Linux guys.

Everything nowadays is cloud based, Office360, Browsing, basic processing, storage…why would I need a 10thgen Corei7 and 6gb ram at 80k?

Nina dell i5 kwa nyumba. 8GB ram na 256GB SSD. Handles autocad vizuri na Eurotruck. Na hometheatre using JetAudio sings reggae real good. Bought it at 9k, mbona ninunue machine expensive and it’ll do just the same?
