How long does it take to actually drive off with the car after it is offloaded from the ship, duty paid and inspection/ verification by KRA and KEBS are done say by Monday 10th August 6pm? I know that this is the work of the clearing agent, but would not mind knowing about it.
Can do it same day. Can take two weeks. Depends if you have number plates ready or KG Plates, and how efficient your team is.
I thought the number plates are issued by NTSA after the duty is paid and inspection done by KEBS, radiation guys, KRA…? I know that many times it is hard to get physical number plates quickly but one can drive off without the physical number plates nowadays unlike the past… BTW the duty is paid

Migration of vehicle details to Tim’s ntsa account after customs release normally takes 12 hours,so third day ni registration of number plates if it reflects on same day and physical plates are available,the unit can be cleared same day.
Note,kuna shortage of number a since the KCZ series is nearing completion.

Tomorrow they are supposed to do “Verifying and customs release…” BTW there is a clearing agent involved so I was just asking third party information… The person importing does not worry about the number plates as long as they are available so KCZ is very much okay… asante, bro! I thought that since most want KDA, there would be abundance in the supply of KCZs now…
