Chronograph

I have been rocking a galaxy watch worth 30k for a while now. Trying to stay fit just like my friend @kijanamrefu advises. I am now in my 50s and I need to track my health regularly. But I feel bad keeping my Ksh 140, 000 (Sells for around 400k now) Jager leCoutre (pronounced jaja le kut) in my dresser drawer. I downloaded a rollex seamaster watch face on this galaxy watch and it looks so real but fake at the same time. What a paradox!

Problem is I am seriously considering buying a Omega watch with the innovative coaxial movement. I have a friend who has the Omega Constellation Chronometer and he is full of praise for the watch. I remember watching the commercial for that watch on CNN and it blew my mind. The price should be around 700k.

TBH I feel bad wearing a 30k watch…its even cheaper than some aged whiskeys I got in the house. But I am equally worried the Omega watch will go straight to the dresser drawer just like my other watches.

Why don’t these smartwatches just make an outright expensive timepiece? Not just slapping gold or diamond on it to make it expensive. Like perhaps using an age old movement (like the Oyster movement) alongside the new tech. I love looking at my timepiece as it tells the passage of time. But I wonder if these timepieces have a future altogether.

This galaxy watch is the same price as my jabra earbuds both of which I consider dirt cheap. This does not sit well with me. In fact, I just bought Jabra elite pro 7 at full price around 26K. These got launched in the US the other day.

Those who may ask for pics niko club taking some liquor but make sure you come to the tech section where I will review the Jabras when they arrive and also parade my other earbuds.

Even better you can check previous posts with pics of my various watches and tech items. I have collectively spent around 70K on earbuds in the last 2 years. I got the jabras 7 pro because they have bone conduction tech. This smartwatch problem has to ve solved though. The best smartwatches should cost about a mil and not 30k. Anyway end of rant.

Cool story bro

That Co-Axial ad is timeless, just like the timepiece

So what’s the issue, can’t tell time or can’t wait to floss?

Halafu nikuite meeting uchelewe, na saa ni ya 700k

maisha ya jaluo haikuwangi rahisi

You misspelled ‘Rolex’. Luo card revoked.

Jabra is overrated.

umesema Which Galaxy watch…please put the full name of the smart watch for further review

Bila ebrufication yoote ni hekaya

Won’t edit… nimekataa.

It’s the smallest and lightweight earbud worth some salt. No one even notices when I am wearing my 85ts, I also have the 75ts also. All the rest kinda bulge a bit or look outright huge like the Technics/Sony/Bose and B&Os. Plus call quality on Jabra is fantastic.

Njaruo hio JLC ni reverso au gani?

Sisi watu wa Seiko tutaketi wapi? Na wewe @Nyamgondho attach ebrufication or keep walking. It’s a Ktalk requirement. Copy typists not allowed here.

Watch enthusiasts aren’t about how expensive a watch is it’s deeper than that mwanakijiji…what JLC watch do you have that costs 140k?..I have been eyeing the JLC reverso mbaya sana

Seiko have cool watches
