What would you advise someone trying to start a small chips joint?
Nunua viazi from Kinangop…130kg bag at 500
Tafuta three workers kwanza wawili wa kuchonga viazi mmoja akipika akiuza. Net is around 2k. Usiuze chips pekee. Uza kuku, sausages etc
Foot traffic ni muhimu…
kaa karibu na shule
na tafuta ule msee alikuwa akiunda tomato toss fake
Quality, Quality, Quality. That’s the biggest reason why customers return. That business is sustained by repeat business only.
It is labor intensive as others have opined.
Kuendea Kinangop is a waste. There’s brokers, highway police, vehicle breakdowns, struggle to fill a lorry. Let someone else deal with that and deliver to your doorstep.
Be the one at the counter and have a keen eye over the rest of the operations. No one can be trusted. Ever.

Digitise payment

usitusumbue buana
hata saffiete tutakata nusu
Just buy a potato peeler machine. Na ile kitu ya kukata into chips. And yes let someone supply the potatoes yeye akae kwa counter receiving the cash.
That is not a business. You are solving your money problem and not the clienteles.
Hii kitu ni mbesha ngapi?
45k.
just start small. usianze biz na moto ya karatasi. In other words, never start big and then upoe haraka kama karatasi. Expand based on client needs and traffic. Why buy a tomato peeler na labda the first 6 months there will be minimal traffic?
I think you answered yourself here
