Cain, Abel and Luluwa

Luluwa (also Aclima) according to some religious traditions was the oldest daughter of Adam and Eve, the twin sister of Cain and wife of Abel.[1] According to these traditions, she was the first female human who was born naturally.[2] According to Islamic and rabbinic tradition, a marriage between Luluwa and Abel was proposed and arranged by their father Adam. In order to commence contentment from Luluwa’s twin brother, Adam (their father) suggested that a sacrifice be made, yet the sacrifice was subsequently rejected by God.[3][4] The reason behind the commotion was that Cain viewed Luluwa as being aesthetically more attractive than Awan. The subsequent friction between Abel and Cain meant Luluwa was the primary cause of the world’s first murder (per Abrahamic traditions).[5]

@GREY2020 what does the Quran say about Cain/Abel, their wives and the reason for the murder?

Cain and Abel

Qābīl wa-Hābīl are the two sons of Adam and Eve hinted at in a Qurʾānic passage exhorting the Prophet to recite the story of two sons of Adam Each brother offered a sacrifice, but the offering of only one of them was accepted, because the other was not God-fearing. The latter promised to kill the former and did so.

Cain and Abel) are believed by Muslims to have been the first two sons of Âdam and Hawāhʾ (Eve) mentioned in the Qurʾan. The events of the story in the Qur’an are virtually the same as the Hebrew Bible narrative. Both the brothers were asked to offer up individual sacrifices to God; God accepted Habil’s (Abel) sacrifice and rejected Qabil’s (Cain); out of jealousy, Qabil slew Hābīl which was the first ever case of murder committed upon the Earth. The great majority of the world’s more than 1.5 billion Muslim population agree the Islamic version, which narrates that Allah promises (permits) Adam to marry one of the twin pairs (which their chromosomical makeup were distinguishly genetically specified by God) with one of the pairs of Qabil with the beautiful-looking Iqlimiya, while the twin pairs of his sister named Qabil and Layudha are less attractive. When Adam was about to marry them (Abel with Iqlimiya and Qabil with Layudha, respectively) Qabil protested and disobeyed because Habil’s sister is less attractive and his own sister is beautiful. So he wants his twin sister for himself because he feels he is more entitled to his twin sister. Based on the revelations from Allah, Adam ordered both to sacrifice.

Quran Verses On Cain & Abel:

5:27 Relate to them in truth ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Adam’s two sons—how each offered a sacrifice: Abel’s offering was accepted while Cain’s was not. So Cain threatened, “I will kill you!” His brother replied, “Allah only accepts ˹the offering˺ of the sincerely devout.

5:28 If you raise your hand to kill me, I will not raise mine to kill you, because I fear Allah—the Lord of all worlds

5:29 I want to let you bear your sin against me along with your other sins, then you will be one of those destined to the Fire. And that is the reward of the wrongdoers.”

5:30 Yet Cain convinced himself to kill his brother, so he killed him—becoming a loser.

5:31 Then Allah sent a crow digging ˹a grave˺ in the ground ˹for a dead crow˺, in order to show him how to bury the corpse of his brother. He cried, “Alas! Have I ˹even˺ failed to be like this crow and bury the corpse of my brother?” So he became regretful.1

.5:32 That is why We ordained for the Children of Israel that whoever takes a life—unless as a punishment for murder or mischief in the land—it will be as if they killed all of humanity; and whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity.1 ˹Although˺ Our messengers already came to them with clear proofs, many of them still transgressed afterwards through the land.
