Buying brake pads

The brake pads I have at the moment are driving me mad. They make this ridiculously annoying squeak when turning at low speeds.I’ve had them for only a month now and they do work well but it seems like I’ll have to replace them soon because of the noise.
So does anyone know which brand of brakepad is best between Asimco,Ferodo and Fremax?

They say buy cheap, buy twice. Always go for OEM brake pads. Never skimp on brake pads and tires. Your life depends on those.

Facts.Lesson learned.I had them changed at my local petrol station garage and the mechanic is the one who recommended them. From now henceforth I’ll just be sourcing the spare parts myself then later take them to the mech

It’s also very easy to change them yourself. Years ago I had the same frustrations and started doing things myself. All you need is to take out the wheel and use a 17-19mm socket to drop the calipers. Then use a G-clamp to reset the piston. 2 tools, 15 minutes. Hundreds of YouTube videos to help. Anyway I found that in my my car, if you don’t angle them exactly right, they wear out quickly.

I work on my brakes and rotors too. A box of tools and youtube is a must for any vehicle owner

Which ones did you put? I also have a similar issue on my Crown Royal Salon

Brake pads nunua Powerking ama Advics, they are fantastic. Pair ni around 6k za mbele, za nyuma around 4k. Inalingana na gari.

Hata Mimi nilikuwanga na hizo annoying brake pads hulia, but when I installed Powerking, problem was solved permanently for over a year now

OEM - Kuna originals and fake … cheap and expensive … be careful usinunue the fake one. Fake ones don’t last

maybe the clip thats supposed to hold the pads was not properly fixed, happened to me once i almost shot @makanika mlevi

I don’t even remember the name tbh, must have been some cheap chinese stuff

You’ve been advised; always buy OEM parts for the specific car model.
I’ve tried that shenanigans and was disappointed from pads to plugs.

Most brake pads are okay so long as they are fixed properly. The setting angle and fixing the callipers is what matters.
