How will the national government ensure there is no sabotage? These men working in government implementing the BRT also own matatus and their greed might push them to sabotage the BRT so that it doesn’t become a success.

Mike Sonko hata akilialia huko Twitter the city of Nairobi is better off without him.

those buses are not enough. lakini ni sawa, waendelee vivyo hivyo

How will they manage the heavy traffic in CBD to ensure timely operation to the various locations

One BRT bus after every hour? What are they smoking. The githurai and kangemi buses currently running after every 2 minutes can’t handle all travellers. 1 brt bus every hour is useless.

The government has no business engaging in business. Let the current private buses and matatus use the BRT lanes.

The government is a business genius

They will flop

Ndoto za amerika…

Unatumianga ubongo kweli boss?

Wananchi need a bus every 2 minutes and don’t care whether the buses are govt or privately owned. We can’t have dedicated brt lanes that serve 1 govt bus each hour. Many countries have bus lanes which are used by buses whether buses are privately or publicly owned.

They will steal from the BRT whether they own matatus or not. That is just who they are they

Sounds nice but not feasible, traffic ya nairobi ni sceptic. This would’ve worked well in developed countries and only if a large %ge per capita owned cars .

This is bonkers.
Take all the buses to one route and make that route efficient.
The rest can wait.

No point spreading a few buses to all of Nairobi.

Umeffi. It won’t last. The matatu industry here in Nairobi will be difficult to annihilate.

Thy need to sample the demand and roi. Naona hapa hakuna wanabiashara. Huwezi kujiingiza biashara kichwa chote ndani, kama tu sgr. Wakishika mwendo ndio wataongeza.
