“Even as we push for non-motorised transport infrastructure, let us be considerate of other road users,” Kitili posted on Instagram.
The anchor affirmed that he had healed and was back to cycling.
He shared a map that detailed he cycled for 50.8 kilometres in 2 hours 56 minutes.

On Wednesday, June 3, his colleague Michael Gitonga almost got involved in an accident too while cycling along Ngong Road.
Gitonga nearly ran over a pedestrian while enjoying the Nairobi Metropolitan road projects which are expanding the highway to include a cycling lane that accommodates bicycles.
The World Bicycle Day was celebrated on June 3, as Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) lauded the Nairobi Metropolitan Services for implementing the Nairobi Mobility plan.
The plan included dedicating 20% of Nairobi’s road construction budget to build Non-Motorized Transport (NMT).

Been that of buying a bike of late. I think my long term plans have been ‘diluted’. Ouch!

Na GV - the purplish stuff

If you want to cycle afadhali ufanyie njia za ndani ndani, I always see guys cycling in the highway & cringe, na vile drivers wa personals huwa aggressive, hawa watu watakuchota because wengi they don’t check the left side mirror

Driving a bicycle on Nairobi highways is more suicidal than drinking rat poison. You can be killed anytime by the rogue drivers. The best advice is to just cycle within the estate roads. Or carry the bike and go to places like Karura forest.

cycling to work?
watu waache jokes

hizo cycle tracks zinaekwa CBD na hakuna tracks from estates, ama ni za kufanya errands within CBD?
