Kikuyus are not a guaranteed vote for Ruto. And people like Sudi and Ng’eno are making it worse for candidate Ruto.
Not unless Ruto can form some formidable tribal alliances you should really stop counting your chickens before they hatch.

You are overestimating the average Kenyan. These are people who lined up by the thousands, possibly millions to give up their personal data and to date they have never held the government accountable. For all our big talk we tend to do exactly what we’re told to do by the political establishment out of fear, ignorance, or a misguided sense of patriotism. Kenyans will vote for a referendum even as they whine about hali ya maisha. And if they don’t guess what? Parliament makes the laws and they will sneak it through.
