My question is directed to those in the construction industry the likes of @Randy .Other than Kumkang Kind and Wall-Ties & Forms, Inc, which other companies uses the aluminium formwork systems building technology and are operating either locally or in Africa…?
The problem with aluminium formwork is the initial investment too expensive … currently the two companies you have mentioned and unity homes are basically the main guys in that field. The only individual who has managed to buy the formwork is kabogo. He used them to build his iguta paradise estate.
Homex also used the tech but it was supplied by kumkang.
So kabogo paradise estate was done using the aluminum formwork ? Wasn’t aware of that and if he indeed bought the formworks si he can be lenting them out to other builders for a fee and be making something out of that I think it can be a good side hustle . Unity homes am actually aware that they use the technology but was thinking they are supplied by Kumkind .The Technology is good and was thinking that it has become popular and there are a number of companies doing kumbe it’s only the two companies …
On of them limitation of the formwork is… its tailored made to a specific design… if kabogo was to let his to other individuals it means we will plenty of houses with similar layout.
