Airbnb in Nairobi ?

How reliable is Airbnb in Nairobi ? I will be in Nairobi for about 6 weeks from mid june. I have a budget of $1,500 for rentals. Should i just get a hotel or Airbnb ?

You sound like a stereotypical meffi from the west. Uber, facebook, air bnb is same wherever you go. If you see an hut with a lion outside on a tether just know that’s what airbnb will deliver.

No meffi business here, there are too many horror stories with Airbnb even in the West…was weighing my options , either hotel or Airbnb

Hire a piece of land and put up a temporary structure ata kama ni ya mabati if it is umeffi you wanna avoid…

Whaaaaaat?

Without AirBnB, you can get fully furnished studio apartments in South B, Kipande Road, Upper Hill, Kilimani etc at the rate of $500 per month or less. That should fit well within your budget…

Have you ever used bnb before ?
It’s not bad in Nairobi, take time to check the user profiles , there are many with trophies , should not be difficult finding a good place.
Seems you’ve near used bnb, download the app and do your research .
I used one some two months back , it was o.k.
Whichever way you look at it , you must run into an issue here and there but normally ,very negligible issues .

Beba tent yako ukifika upitch na ulale Uhuru Park jinga.

I have family man…dont wanna fuck with them…i like my privacy

Yeah used Airbnb before not in Kenya tho

It’s that time of the month , so understand some men are on their periods now here on Ktalk . Airbnb is fine in Nairobi , and with your budget , you are in the higher echelon of places you can stay . Pick an upmarket area , get feedback from one or two owners and pick the best . Airbnb in Nairobi i believe is much classier in how you are treated and places you can stay for the price .

Carry a boudoir tent like Gaddafi and stop disturbing us. We live in Kibera and we don’ disturb
