This is sad.with vast tracts of arable land, but we can’t find food to eat! !? The government is not doing anything they were elected to do.Government officials have turned the state into a form of business forging the true essence of government.corruption is at age highest and lack of respect for human life.
Democracy is not the best form of gevernance for Africa am not advocating for dictatorship either.
Nigeria has hundreds of millions of people but they blame Buhari and a few other wazee’s for their problems. Society ndio shida. We are wicked, we are thieves, we are corrupt, lakini tunataka mwanasiasa awe clean. Tunataka Arror asiibe, ilhali sisi ni wezi.
Mwafrika utatombwa milele na parasitic owners of capital, wenye wao ni minority, na nyinyi ni majority.
This looks like Northern Nigeria where the herdsmen live. I hear they’re the ones who have spoilt that country, in which case the AU should facilitate Biafra’s independence.
Is there something we’re missing?
Is it possible that African leaders don’t know what the continent needs?
Is it possible that Lumumba, Gaddaffi, Sankara, did’nt know what their countries needed?
Seretse Khama, Kagame, Museveni?
Mobutu, Iddi Amin, Sani Abacha, Kamuzu Banda?
These guys set out to serve their countries and ensure that poverty, disease and ignorance would be a thing of the past…
WHAT MADE THEM STRAY FROM THAT PATH?
THE COMMON DENOMINATOR HERE IS THE VOTER…
AND “DEMOCRACY” (AS DEFINED BY OUR WESTERN MASTERS)
.
.
.
Closer home…
Kiraitu, Kidero, Waititu, Obado, Kingi, Joho, Waiguru, Sonko…
.
.
.
Closer still…
Raila, Ruto, Kenyatta, Matiang’i,
What made these guys deviate?
FROM THE PATH THEY SET OUT ON INITIALLY?
A nations prosperity lies with its people, however that prosperity can only make sense if the govt puts in place a sound economic environment. What is happening in Nigeria is a systemic failure to address a recurrent problem year in year out.
And these are, food security and employment. By setting policies in place that ensure Agriculture pays and feeds the nation, a nation has a higher chance of embracing industrialization. You can’t start with the latter then address the former. Same problems faced in Nigeria are faced here in Kenia.
Instead of govt promoting agriculture, some tumbocrats are busy passing laws that make farming appear punitive. We are not an advanced society. We are not any different from Nigerians
They were never in those paths. they were only playing us. And we dont really have democracy we have a performance that resembles democracy.
How can you call it democracy when all sorts of criminals are allowed to vie for posts, parties owned by individuals, elections are always rigged and a few people control all institutions
The late President Moi perfected this …
Destroy a certain business segment dominated by your perceived enemies and make them see you as their SAVIOUR when you later give them HANDOUTS…
AND YOU CONTINUE RULING WITH LITTLE OPPOSITION.
