He needed to have BMW in his list. I see poor Kenyans scrambling to buy cheap BMW mitumbas, just for the prestige of the badge. Unfortunately, most bimmers cost an arm and a leg in repairs and maintenance and are surprisingly unreliable, especially anything from the turn of the millennium thereabouts.
I suspect he overlooked this coz he couldn’t quite pin point a particularly obnoxious model (the problem is across the board) or he hasn’t dealt with bimmers much.
BOTTOMLINE: Avoid Bimmers too and thank me later!

This logic here is what is wrong with the current generation. just coz you have money doesn’t mean that you start throwing it at any and all of your problems. I am a car enthusiast and all i can say is owning a used European car is playing Russian roulette with your money. More so if you cant work on the car yourself and have to rely on dodgy “specialist” garages.

You are using outliers in your argument. On a scale of probability, how many E36s are available for sale compared to E46s for example? Well, unaweza pata as well kept E36 but does it tell the story of available for sale used BMWs?
