Fuel consumption is in many ways affected by your driving style. No significant difference between the 2 engines, I would go for the 3L for more haul power
When it comes to diesel cars, will a 2.5 or 3.0 engine have a noticeable difference in consumption kweli?

There is a slight consumption difference when not on load. 2.5 naturally aspirated is bare minimum. If it’s turbo it’s fine. Otherwise with naturally aspirated pickup you should have at least 2.8 diesel.

for Isuzu go for 3lt version.
kama ni toyota D4D go for the 2.5L - 2KD. Has much more torque from around 1500rpm. Heck if you are talented you can take off in 3rd gear
no difference at all for diesel cars its more about what you carrying/towing and driving habits
